One Day from San Jose
The tour starts with a short stop by the office in order to use bathroom facilities, and meet the guide, right after here the trip continues to the property where our boat is docked, over there after a short 15 minutes walk on a path where you have the opportunity to observe part of the mangrove ecosystem, crabs, birds, butterflies and more. Once on the boat the guide will introduce the captain and give a short security speech in order to start the ride over the river.
After finishing the boat tour, it is time to get back on the bus and take the route to a special spot with great views, where the lunch will be served.
Carara National Park
Now, after the delicious lunch, it is time to start the short ride to the national park, as soon as the registration is ready, the guide will take you to the trail where you will enjoy the mix of a transition zone between the dry forest of the north and the humid forest of the south, presenting characteristics of both.
